Braemar had a call sign of 89 in Grampian Fire and Rescue Service, this was changed to R40, the new National Call Sign, when the Control at Mounthooly closed on 8/11/2016.
DEESIDE FIRE STATION OFFICIALLY OPENED
<PHOTO> Braemar’s £25,000 new fire station, one of the most modern in the North
east, was officially opened yesterday by Portsoy Provost George Wood, chairman
of the fire board. After the ceremony attended by some 70 townsfolk, fireman
gave a short display.
